Mandy Chick finishes 12th in home race at Kansas

Mandy Chick of De Soto, Kansas, took on nearby Kansas Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas) in the ARCA Menards Series on Saturday and left the 1.5-mile oval with a solid 12th-place finish after completing all 100 laps.

Chick qualified 15th for the Dawn 150 in her No. 74 Dynamic Drivelines/JRC Tax Chevrolet, then kept her nose clean throughout the day as she gained three positions in the 28-car field. Chick came home scored as the last driver on the lead lap.

The 12th-place result was Chick’s second top-15 in her three ARCA races thus far this season after finishing fifth in the Daytona opener in February. She now sits 14th in the series standings.
