Chick scores top-15 finish at Owosso
Mandy Chick competed for the first time in 2025 on Memorial Day Monday, taking part in the Big O Classic with the JEGS/ CRA All-Stars Tour at Ovid, Michigan’s Owosso Speedway. She drove her new car through the field multiple times in the 100-lap race en route to a 14th-place finish.
Chick qualified 28th out of 31 Pro Late Models at the 3/8-mile track in her No. 74 Fragola Performance Chevrolet. However, she showed significant speed in the $10,000-to-win race.
She had methodically advanced to the eighth position in the main event when she suffered damage from two cars getting together in the third turn. After restarting from the rear, Chick climbed through the field once again to come home in the 14th position.
